DHAKA: A fire broke out at a restaurant in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport terminal brief creating panic among the waiting passengers on Wednesday morning.
However, there was no report of casualty form the blaze, which originated from a stove of ‘Spicy Restaurant’ at terminal building at about 7:35 am. It produced escalating black smoke around the airport lounge forcing passengers and others in panic.
Later, employees of the restaurant and airport doused the fire with extinguisher at about 8.00am.
The loss from the fire could not be known immediately.
